Intelink Frees eCommerce Seller Funds and Extracts Client from Lawsuit

An Intelink team led by Jane Jaang achieved another successful result protecting international companies from overzealous litigants. Our client, named as a defendant in N.D. Illinois Civil Action 21-cv-2180, had its U.S. funds frozen before having an opportunity to appear in Court, despite not having sold any infringing product in the United States. After appearing in the case, fighting vigorously for our client, and rejecting the plaintiff’s steadily-decreasing settlement offers, on 8/26/21 the plaintiff voluntarily dismissed its claims against our client shortly before a scheduled hearing to avoid addressing our defense before the Court.
